With proper care, BELLAMI Professional Extensions have a lifespan of 6-12 months, depending on how they are maintained at home and in the salon.

To prevent tangling and shedding, regularly brush BELLAMI Hair Extensions with a soft-bristle brush. Avoid brushing when wet to prevent damage. Using lightweight oils or detangling products helps keep extensions tangle-free.

BELLAMI Hair Extensions can be styled like natural hair; heat protectant must be used before applying any heat to the hair.

BELLAMI Professional Hair Extensions can be colored, but we do not recommend bleaching, lifting, or lightening extensions due to prior processing. Any chemical changes should be done at the stylist's discretion, with a strand test advised. Note that alterations will void The BELLAMI Warranty.

It is not recommended to swim with your BELLAMI Hair Extensions, as chlorine and saltwater exposure can lead to dryness, tangling, and potential discoloration. BELLAMI Hair Stylists can recommend the use of clip-ins that could be easily taken out when their guests want to swim.

To store extensions for later reapplication, hang them upright with a BELLAMI Hair Extensions hanger and in a BELLAMI Hair Extensions Carrier bag. Always make sure they are clean and dry before storing them in a dark, secure, low-movement environment to maintain their integrity.

Any manufacturing defects are covered by The BELLAMI Warranty within 90 days of purchase. Please note that chemical alterations will void the warranty. We also offer free returns within 30 days of purchase for unopened and unused merchandise.
