BELLAMI
Gives Back

UPDATE: Bellami x Trans Cosmetics Donation Program to the LA LGBT Center - Trans Wellness Center!

BELLAMI's partnership with the Los Angeles LGBT Center was announced by donating 2,400 wigs to the Trans Wellness Center via celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons' @andrewfitzsimons Trans Cosmetics Donation Program.

Now we can update that half of the wigs have arrived! Mariana Marroquin, Associate Director of the Trans Wellness Center, shared her excitement as the boxes came into the center, "they're full of love and hair for our clients and our community."

BELLAMI's core mission is to make everyone feel beautiful through the transformative power of hair, and we are grateful to everyone who has donated and continues to donate to support the distribution of the wigs. Click below to learn more about the LA LGBT Center and how to contribute.

"Today we have the wigs right here, which means let's start celebrating who we are and being ourselves and take [over] the world!"

- Mariana Marroquin

Our Partnership

BELLAMI has committed 2,400 wigs to be donated to the Los Angeles LGBT Center. The center supports a nationwide coalition of charities to which the wigs will be distributed. Our partnership is led by celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons via the Trans Cosmetics Donation Program.

"We really wanted to find a way for beauty to give back"

- Andrew Fitzsimons

BELLAMI Values

During transition, hair is usually a significant part of that process. As a stylist or educator, you provide support when they sit in your chair, probably without even realizing it. Together, we can help those in the trans community express who they truly are. BELLAMI is a means of transformation; the rest is your story to tell.

How Do I Get Involved?

The Los Angeles LGBT Center and Andrew Fitzsimons are raising money to cover transportation costs of the wigs to the receiving centers. Join us in making a difference.

If you’re an organization supporting the trans community, reach out to the Los Angeles LGBT Center about your project to see if you qualify for a wig donation.
